SCRIP
Scrip is a term that means "substitute money".
When Farout members purchase Scrip, you're purchasing negotiable gift certificates that are used just like cash. The scrip is issued by the national and local retailers where many of you already shop. These merchants want to support non-profit organizations, and in return ask you to support them by shopping with scrip at their stores. Scrip members can use scrip to purchase everyday expenses like food, clothing, and other essentials, and with every purchase, you earn revenue for your child’s scrip account. Typically you will receive 90-95% of the profit back into your child’s Scrip account. The money in your child’s account can only be used for tryout fees and club fees.

SCHOLARSHIPS
FaR Out hopes that finances are never an issue for families who wish to participate in our volleyball club. We do offer financial assistance to families who are in financial need. We require anyone who is interested in financial assistance to fill out a scholarship application, which will be reviewed by our club staff. Once it is reviewed, we will notify you of the decision. We will not grant scholarships to families who do not complete the application form. Likewise, families are not guaranteed a scholarship if they complete the application form.
